That's massive news to me I've got to say.

 

Speak as ye find Chief. I work up that area for a week, love the Geordies.

 

Any Geordie I've met has been lovely, friendly and affable, very good company, but the 'unique Geordie ethos' of playing decent attractive football is neither unique or especially Geordie.

They also aren't the worlds greatest fans and the club they support is not 'massive'.
They're like any others, enthusiastic and generally biased and deluded when it comes to their team.

So the football intelligence doesn't really wash as intelligent fans wear at least a shirt in winter and most wear coats and don't have tattoo's all over their fat guts.

Nor do they punch horses.
