    Huddlestone £15 - £20m

    Davies £7 - £8m

    Sagbo £4 - 5m

I think we have invested better than any other side in the PL this season.

    We'll done Brucie

This wise spending is why I believe Allam will spend more and trust SB

Emotionally Hudds may be worth £15M but he needs to show another half-season of this before any of the "top 6" would be prepared to pay that kind of money for him.
In terms of value for money, MacGregors got to be up there as well. I hope we can tie him to a longer contract over the summer.

Thing I thought was very astute, was other then Sagbo all our signings where either British or British based. Which obviously helped the squad gell quicker.

I agree with all that. But it also shows the strength of character of Sagbo that he came here knowing nobody and how well he's done.

Yeah totally. It also showed Bruce did his homework on his character.

People forget there's a lot other considerations into signings players. A lot more then what goes on the pitch.

I think Bruce learned a lot from the Proschwitz transfer, and in going for Sagbo has found a striker from abroad with a completely different attitude and presence.

To be as effective as he has been in his first ever Premier League half season, from the 2nd tier of French football, is fantastic.

Prossie needs to see what could have been...and then **** off.

The thing that is slightly at odds with me on Sagbo is Bruce's initial appraisal of him when he signed.
Something like "He gives us something a little bit different...he has bags of pace to run in behind defenders".

I think he has a great first touch and is strong combative forward but I wouldn't have said pace is one of his assets (unless you're comparing him with Danny Graham of course)
