It still fails to acknowledge KM's comments regarding us being so lucky to see the youngsters before they are shipped off to the bright lights of the Premiership.

I took some stick when I announced on Facebook as far back as June that I was terminating my membership. I've read nothing there thats convinced me I made an error.

Plus I've never won a penny from it.

i quit mine after gomez last year, and because of what happened to poyet (being told he'd go to standard). i had done it for 5 years, really enjoyed the perks of days at the training ground, meet the youth players, box once in a while. but these started drying up, and then!, they started flogging the youth... there was no way i was funding rolands business model.

i signed up because i wanted to help local kids and see them do something positive and good in front of us. fed up seeing money being sent abroad to people that we dont have a say on who gets it. "charity starts at home" my mum always said.

I sent them an email, discussing my Valley Gold threatening to cancel providing certain assurances was not met, in the defence of the Valley Gold board they did get back to me saying they were holding a meeting on Monday. They also informed me this morning that they will be releasing a statement.

More than I ever got from my carefully worded email to Miere, which highlighted in statistics points averages of managers declining, wanting to know where all the money has gone from selling players, insinuating that it was being used to subsidise teams abroad and lastly that Powell got a team promoted on £1.4million and that if they gave him this so called "£12million" spent, imagine what he could have done.

Not a peep from her. Not like, "Cheers Holden for your email, and I appreciate your time to write it. I assure you that we are looking in to address the issues and concerns that you have raised about supporting your club Upjest Athletic. Snoochy Boochies, Katrine"
