Gem of the Norfolk coast. Bar none!
Written by Jon Rogers, better known to many by his twitter alias @BigGrantHolt.
Despite being heterosexual, he was clearly upset and distressed by this guy's attitude which, in supporting a generally tolerant, welcoming, family oriented football club, comes as a bit of a shock and surprise in the year 2014.
What can be done to eradicate homophobia and or xenophobia from sports grounds is the big question. Sadly. not even David Mcnally appears to have the answer to that :(

Thanks for posting that Cromer and there is no need for comments such as that in this day and age - whether or not said in jest!!!

Like racism it will be a very long slow battle to ever stamp homophobia out. All you can do is keep trying to educate one generation after another and hope each generation loses a little more hate or ignorance. It still appears to be the go to playground male on male taunt or goading to shout "Gay" at another kid. It's only when those kids (And this certaintly goes for adults too) actually don't shout "no your gay", or "no fin' way" and perhaps question the name calleras to why they consider it an insult and that maybe they should stop being an idiot! It would definitely have been a brave thing to do when I was a youngun and the fear of then being labelled is what then and probably now stops the majority of kids from doing so.

Bah!
