Given the shocking events over the weekend in Norway, are we expecting this match to be cancelled?

I'd just take this opportunity to pass my deepest sympathy to anyone touched by this horrific event.

I'm not too sure, you raise a good point and I hadn't thought about it. I think it'll still go ahead personally, the bombing was the least loss of life of the 2 incidents, and the island is quite a lot further away, so I think it'll still go ahead.

I hope it goes ahead, it will give everyone involved the opportunity to publicly show respect.

    Hopefully it will go ahead.

Tragic event and R.I.P to all those that were so innocently taken.

I'm sure we would have heard something by now if they were even thinking about it being cancelled. Like said above, it would be an opportunity for the club and the fans to show respect to the lives lost.

I suppose it depends on whether Norway feels continuing with sport is an appropriate response to such a traumatic event. It's only a friendly, so it wouldn't surprise me if they cancelled. If it goes ahead, as mentioned above, I'm sure our club and fans will show our customary compassion and respect for the dead and all those affected by the events.
