    This is great news, the guy is useless. Have to question Van Gaal for signing him in the first place. I could have told him from watching him at Barca that he was terrible, would have saved us 6 months in wages, and 2 points against Arsenal :biggrin:

    What philosophy doesn't work for a goalkeeper? I can't imagine he's bad with the ball at his feet having played for Barca for years.

    Weird move by Van Gaal in the first place. Surely he and the scouts knew everything there was to know when they brought him in.

    Time for you to buy Rob Green.

    It would seem daft to let De Gea go for free but with him not signing and RM not bidding you are left in a strange situation as are RM who don't really have a keeper at the moment.

    Granted Mignolet isn't great, but he has improved since he was dropped for Brad Jones <doh>. But I'd rather have Mignolet than Valdes. Glad Jone's has gone though as I'd rather have Matth in goal than him!

    Valdes made a living out of playing for team that lets the opponent shoot once per game <laugh>
