Well someone had to make the effort. Lazy barstewards.
Cant wait to see how we fair against Spuds reserves! 5/10 for effort on the matchday thread groot, actually i'll be generous and give you an extra mark cos you could be arsed to do one 6/10 it is ! HWTL
I will be doing my match day summary of the ref as usual anyone who moans about me doing it can kiss JPF's arse as he bares it outside Fenwicks window when we win 2-1 I've got Ritchie to be booked anytime during the game as Atkinson was itching to book him in the pre season friendly last week
Are we actually involved in the game at all as the only mention of Newcastle, apart from transport facilities and betting odds, is the first word of the post. Any injuries going into this? Do you think Thursday's rash of new signings will be fit enough to be included in the match day squad? What are you predicting our line-up will be? Are we meeting in the Earl for a drink? Will Chippy pretend he has left his wallet at home again? Wtf has happened to Nev?
Has anyone actually been to this Ware Rooms of which the groot speaks? Is it any good...prices look decent and very tempting. I nearly ventured there during the world cup for an england game but I couldn't convince the rest of the lads !
Thank you for calling Nostrodamus Inc unfortunately all our case handlers are busy at the moment. Please leave your telephone number and we will get back to as soon as we can.
Hard fought 4-0 win for the Toon, damn these early kick offs, means you have to be in the Boozer at 10-30ish the barstewarts
We don't have a bad record against these lot. We're at home, and if we are focused, organised and giving 100% effort we have a decent chance of making up for the gulf in quality between the two sides. I'm a little worried with Lejeune being out and how his replacement will fair, plus the lack of firepower up front (I'm guessing Rafa won't throw Rondon and possibly Muto in just yet). Maybe we can scrape a 1-1 draw.
They should start, who else do we have,Joselu? Ffs I want to see all the newbies start but knowing Rafa they'll come on 62,73 and 82nd minute
I'm going for: Dubravka Yedlin, Lascelles, Clark (I'd personally play Schar though), Dummett Ritchie, Shelvey, Diame (I'd personally play Ki), Kenedy Perez, Rondon (I'd personally play Muto)
I’m going for... A holiday to Turkey for 2 weeks tomorrow. Be warned... my **** thread levels will be on overdrive...
Rondon has been here about 2 days. Rafa requires everyone in the team to know their roles and be well drilled. He may start but given that he's just arrived I think it may be Joselu or Muto with Perez.
