lets hope the apathy of our board does not now, after we [ our board] have had such a successful run 7 -8 years become the mirror image of our team.
over the past month our board has lost a great deal of its sparkle, hopefully the team wont follow suit...

City will be looking to make it five wins out of five in December when they take on QPR on Saturday.
Lee Johnson's side travel to Loftus Road off the back of their 2-1 Carabao Cup victory against Manchester United, courtesy of Korey Smith's 93rd minute strike.
Assistant head coach Jamie McAllister says confidence in the camp is high and is he adamant City will exploit their hosts weaknesses.
Speaking to BCTV before the group travelled to London on Friday, McAllister said: "It was an outstanding performance [against Manchester United], the lads were a different class on the day and it was a great win. It was a great way to win it but that’s gone now. It’s in the past and we get back to business.
    A TOUGH GAME
"We have to re-focus and make sure the lads are recovered and well for QPR, which will be a tough game.
"The lads are confident after the run of results that we have been on, with the start to the season we have had in the league. To reiterate, our main focus is the league.
"QPR had a good win last week against Birmingham City so they are in confident mood as well. We have to go to Loftus Road with full of energy and be ready to go again."
    IAN HOLLOWAY
The former Bristol Rovers boss and QPR player has been at the helm since November 2016.
Speaking about Holloway, McAllister said: "He would like to get one over on us for sure, considering his Bristol Rovers background but we have to focus on us, make sure we are right, prepare properly and go again.
"We know they have threats with Matt Smith up top, Massimo Luongo and Luke Freeman in the middle of the park who are good, dangerous footballers. We know their weakness well and we think we can go and exploit them. It’s all about us again and to make sure we do the job properly again.
    INJURY NEWS LATEST
The former City defender said there had been a “few niggles” following the Manchester United game on Wednesday night but he has assured the players have recovered well.

    RESULTS TODAY

VILLA V SHEFF U . . . with 2 teams as close it is always best to hope for a draw because at least 1 pt is wasted..think Villa will add to to Sheff u#s miserable run
SHEFF W V MIDDS ... sheff 10 pts adrift of their neighbours, 6th, and had 2 bites at the cherry last 2 season so 3 pts would help us today
P N E V FLOREST ... got to be a draw, either are dangerous contenders at the moment, best of a bad job ... florest 3pts
LEEDS V HULL ... leeds and derby probably the 2 most dangerous so wins for Hull getting a bit better and
DERBY V MILLWALL ... a win for millwall would be best results for us

Well in to the second half and we are down 0-1. No big deal if we lose this one, except it's against Hollowhead, but all 3 players who have now been substituted looked very weak to me in all aspects of their game. Taylor, Leko and Kelly were the players in this case. Still time to rescue at least a point but we will have to see if our ability to fight back can continue.

After the fumes from Wednesday have dissipated we have to get back to the usual routine but today we look a little flat, which in many respects could have been expected. Thank you ref for booking their player for holding on to the ball when we were trying to take a free kick, too much of that nonsense is allowed to pass without a mention.

You see Rod they listened to me and have tied it up. Nice to see Lee pat Luke on the back when he was substituted. Still time for the winning goal EH.

I expected us to be a bit flat today and in the first half I think that was the case. As you say onefor we are a much more resilient team this year, and whereas in times gone by I would have given up hope during today's game, I knew in my bones that we are capable of replying in a positive way and we did. Nice one lads.

    Evening fellas.
    A feisty game.
Your centre backs are giants and I suspect your team has been built classically from the back forwards.
Holloway taking Freeman off knocked the energy out of us and we tried to defend with increasing pressure.
Didn't see how soft or hard the pen was but a vacuous discussion since its only one person's opinion that counts.
Good luck for rest of season but a word of caution re the promised land of the PL. If not managed well, it can be a nightmare. I know!

There is far more to Flint and Baker than just size and height. Our team is built on a pass and move mentality and for two big lads they are very comfortable with the ball at their feet as well as in the air. In this area Flint has come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months.

A good point for our young team given both the physical and mental energy used on Wednesday night
