On 1st of September we are away to Manchester United. Two win out of two and six points, Manchester United lost their last game to Brighton, so they are a wounded lion. This is going to be a difficult game. We drew 2:2 last season. We just saw Brentford off by 2 goals to nil. Usually look forward to these matches but might be a bit early for us and Slot. However, we've played well in the opening two games with room to improve too. Could go either way imo
Not that we've played badly in either opening game, but I don't feel like we looked good enough to face a potential top six competitor yet. Maybe we've been holding back but we'll need to be a little bit better.
Depends on the opposition as well. We were well in charge of both games without having to do too much. If we're pushed more then we'll see just how good we can be.
Utd will be the first real test. They are not that good and certainly not that organised, but always raise their game against us. If we win and control the game then I can see the Slot approach serving us well this season and the more games we play it the better we will become at it. If Utd win then obviously Slot out Blame Zanjino
We're not playing Arsenal or Manchester City next week. I really don't really understand how people are saying because it's United it's to early for us or Slot. United are playing Fernades up front ffs. Look at how bad there defence was against Brighton.
Because every one of their players will try that bit harder against us; play well against Liverpool and become as folk hero amongst the Man Utd fans and get as bit of pressure off your back at the same time.

They seem to now accept it as fans as long as they are playing someone better than them and the counter suits them. There's nothing there to threaten lfc back 4 if we are doing what we are saying we do to get back in fast and not over commit. It's really all then about casemiro and maguire and the like.
I've seen Mason Mount get a fair bit of criticism from Man Utd fans in your first two games, but I suspect his pressing may get more praise when you play us. It will test Gravenberch for sure
