Others will disagree but Argyle came away with a deserved 3 points against a team that were not great by any stretch but are also not the worst that have been to HP this season.

We started off on the front foot and had a really bright start which led to Marvin's goal after 15 mins which he took well and with better quality passing in the final third we could have had a couple more. The all too common pattern followed of Argyle letting their opponents into the game and sitting back. Reid went went down close to half time following a fairly innocuous challenge tried to carry on, but didn't reappear after half time. Enter Natham Thomas (at last) much to the delight of the crowd - an injury to Hartley forced another change (McHugh to CB) and after a period of readjustment the greens settled back into the game . Thomas was slow to start but in the end proved the crowd correct and the reluctant manager wrong. Some great wing play at times and decent crosses which was rewarded with a goal...okay he was offside but still had to run half the pitch and beat the keeper and could easily have fluffed his lines, but finished with style and it was game over. Alessandra should have added a third at the death but dragged it wide although he still somehow was awarded the sponsors MOTM award. Good performances by Morgan, and Blizzard who continues to improve esp when going forward. Luke pulled off a great save at 1-0 and the back 4 (including a rare start for Purrington) all did well.

Good to see Micky Heathcote at half time -a pity the Home park PA failed again so we couldn't hear him!.

Sharing my MOTM between Morgan for his first half and Thomas and Blizzard for their second ones.

Another 3 points in the bag , lets hope the injuries not too serious, but both looked like they had potential to cause a few matches in the treatment room.

Thanks Lindy....not used to Reid getting injured, hope it isn't serious.....we just haven't got anyone to fill his boots in that position.....also hope that Hartley will be okay for the next game.

Didn't see the result until Sunday morning on the Football League show. They, that is the commentator bloke whoever he is, seemed to be saying Argyle weren't that great but won 2 - 0 despite themselves. Don't care as it was 3 points and finally gets us past 10. Didn't know the rest lyndhurst so grateful for that. I do hope Hartley isn't on the injured list for long. I have been well impressed with him so far and he would be missed.
