In-form Bristol City will assess midfielder Korey Smith ahead of Saturday's visit of Nottingham Forest. The hosts remain without Callum O'Dowda (ankle), Eros Pisano (hamstring), Jens Hegeler and Gary O'Neil (both knee). Forest pair Danny Fox and Chris Cohen are likely to miss out because of knee injuries. Hopes of a speedy return for defender Jack Hobbs (back) have been reduced after he suffered a setback to his recovery during training. SAM's prediction Home win 56% Draw 24% Away win 20% Match facts The Robins have won five of their last seven Championship encounters with Forest (L2). Nottingham Forest have lost each of their last three visits to Ashton Gate having lost none of their previous 14 in all competitions. Bristol City defender Aden Flint has scored 31 goals in his last four seasons in league competition and has more Championship goals this term than any other defender (6). Indeed, Flint's six goals have won the Robins nine points in the Championship this season - only Albert Adomah (11) and Billy Sharp (12) have won more points for their sides. Nottingham Forest haven't drawn any of their last 28 league games, winning 13 and losing 15. Their last stalemate came back in April versus Preston. The Tricky Trees have conceded eight goals in the opening 15 minutes of Championship matches this season, the joint worst tally in the division along with Birmingham. BRISTOL CITY ................. They are being quite complimentary on their board about us - although a few of them say they prefer the gas - but that’s probably because they hardly ever play Rovers. We have become a kind of bogey side for them of late - although I think until a few seasons ago we hadn’t beaten them in the league since 1955 so perhaps it’s karma. http://www.forestforum.co.uk/
good results today would be win for Norwich win for Reading win for Millwall Hull win for them draw for PNE v Sheff draw Derby v Villa wont get them all but a couple will do nicely
Attempt saved. Bobby Reid (Bristol City) right footed shot from a difficult angle on the right is saved in the bottom left corner. Assisted by Bailey Wright. BBC report after 20 min shows no shot off or on target the above was 14 mins also 1 after 12 mins!
Great result. Well done City. Forest are no mugs. Let’s hope Hull donus a favour tonight. Shame about Derby winning - they crept up fast - I didn’t see them coming!!!
