I hope Shakey doesn't make 8 or 9 changes. I would go for: Schmeichel Amartey Benalouane Wasilewski Chilwell Albrighton Drinkwater King Gray Okazaki Vardy
I would change most of the team. I would go with Schmeichel Amartey Wasilewski Benalouane Chilwell Gray King Drinkwater Musa Ulloa Slimani Champs League has to be the priority for this week not the Everton game
Either go full strength or rest them all. No point making 3-4 changes as we will lose and don't get the benefit of resting them all. For me: Kasper Simpson Amartey Benny Chilwell Gray King Ndidi Musa Ulloa Slimani
Schmeichel, Amartey, Huth, Benalouane, Chilwell, Albrighton, King, Drinkwater, Gray, Slimani, Vardy Subs- Zieler, Simpson, Wasilewski, Kapustka, Mahrez, Musa, Ulloa
Plenty of changes, but a strong spine still. Trying to be competitive today and keep things fresh for Wednesday, it's as good a compromise as he could probably manage.
How the hell are we still in this? We haven't done anything. King and Drinkwater have been woeful. We are just sitting back and inviting them to attack us!!
That game was a total freebie. Bearing in mind we are now 95% safe plus the small matter of a fairly importanish game midweek. If you gave it to me now i would happily take a 2-1 loss in our next game against some spanish also rans and a bore draw against palace next weekend. Please please please give us some mid table guaranteed mediocrity combined with the cup run (ahem) to finish of this topsy turvy season!
The game was handed to Everton really. We've got to give Wednesday the best shot we can, in all reality when will we be in the last eight of the Champions League again? I wouldn't lay any blame on anyone today. Just a bit fed up with the scheduling of the game, all bow to Sky!
Let's hope Morgan is fit for Wednesday. Benalouane was absolutely dreadful again. Leo looked the brighter of our big front men. Good to see him back and unlucky not to be on the score sheet.
Shakey has said Wes is out While Benalouane today aside has been ok since he came into the side he has shown he isnt good enough when you compare to Big Wes
Totally out gunned in midfield except for a spell in the second half when already 4-2 down. However looking at Evertons home record this season and the team we put out it was hardly surprising. The only concern for me was that given Benalouane is almost certain to start against Athletico he was very poor today.
