Premier League:Chelsea (a) Newcastle recommence their Premier League fixtures on Saturday when they visit Stamford Bridge for a 5.30pmkick-off shown live on BT Sport. The last remaining away tickets are on member sale. NUFC: Ki Sungyueng and Yoshinori Muto are away on international duty at the Asian Cup but Florian Lejeune should be in contention for his first PL appearance of the season after his comeback in the FA Cup. Jonjo Shelvey and Paul Dummett are both doubtful starters after visiting a specialist in Spain this week - the former for assessment of his ongoing thigh issue, the latter regarding a long-standing hamstring injury. CFC: Cesc Fabregas looks like he's played his final game for the Blues and is in negotiations to leave the club. Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi are both doubtful. Maurizio Sarri's side have won six and drawn four of their eleven PL home games this season, with only Leicester City taking maximum points, winning 1-0 last month. Is it even a match day thread if you don’t make a prediction? 4-0 to the toon but they’ll all be Chelsea own goals, including one from the penalty spot...go figure!
I think we will pinch a point in an exciting 2-2 draw with an early goal from Rondon and a late equaliser from Perez. Or at least that's what I have said in the Prediction League.
I'm constipated with the medication I'm on and not had a Tom Kite since Monday morning. Apparently this is normal and I can expect to have three this afternoon and one tomorrow morning. If this is not an omen then nothing is. Newcastle 3 Chelsea 1 ( Rondon hat trick )
Blah blah blah, do we really need a build up? It's a football game, we're going to lose it. Let's keep it simple
We look that light in the middle, i wonder if Schar is an option? Or do the unthinkable and play 2 up top Rondon and Joselu!! We do appear to be scratching around for players. It's a bit like a work game (where you end up with your next door neighbour's friend's cousin filling in), not a premier league team.
Dubravka Yedlin Fernandez Lejeune Clark Schar Longstaff Hayden Ritchie Rondon Murphy We all know Lascelles, Manquillo and lego hair will play though. But that'd be my team, we'll get humped anyway
