Watched the whole match again last night, exactly 50 years on from that magical night at Wembley, which I am proud to say I saw live, in the flesh with my father, only our second ever live game (the first being us against Arsenal at Highbury). I was only 13, I don't remember being out that late before and I had certainly never been amongst so many people in a crowd before either. The noise inside the stadium was deafening - and the thing I remember most before the kick off was the great mass of cigarette smoke swirling around. The match itself .... well it was every little red devil supporters club dream, a night of pure magic. I remember one young lad going home amongst the crowds trying hard not to cry he was so happy. Watching the game again last night brought back all those wonderful, poignant memories from what seems like a lifetime ago.
