It seems as though I keep repeating myself this season as i've lost count of how many times i've thought we cannot play worse than that, but then soon after we surpass ourselves. Even by our high levels of crapness, that was just awful, the football was just a disgrace, Pulis ought to be ashamed of himself. He said we were going to progress this season, and play better football, well i'm still waiting Pulis as i've seen no evidence of any improvement, if anything we've gone backwards, a long way backwards. I haven't seen dross like this since the binary season. The only chance of us staying up this season is if Begovic does it for us

Well played West Brom, you deserved to win, you played us off the park, you're a MUCH better team than we are. Mind you that's not saying much, i'm struggling to think of a worse team than us in this league.

Yes it was, but i'm not going to blame the officials, West Brom deserved a bit of luck, we didn't.

I heard there was a scuffle in the tunnel after the game and Olsson punched a picture and smashed it!

Not defending Stoke's awful performance, but that linesman was also rather embarrassing.

Offside sure it was. But we didn't deserve ANYTHING utter and total garbage. And, Pulis you obviously can't sort it out can you? We scored and then what?

******* clueless but, we all of us know that. Unless I saw a different game of course. I would like to punch someone, and it would not be a picture. Never been relegated Tony? NOT yet you haven't. SORT this shower out before it's too late. And you told us we would improve. Well, when the **** is that going to happen because, I'm still bloody waiting.

I don't blame the player's so much, YOU ******* picked them! NOT US Tony. It's NOT OUR fault that half of them are simply not good enough is it!

I am 100% in agreance Sarge .. what a dreadful performance and cold as well !
But i feel compelled to still discuss KJ !!!
We bring off Carew whom was at least holding the ball up ...
But was also getting some ruff treatment with 2 on his back all the time .
But i am staggered by the total lack of presence by KJ ..
May it be confidence or whatever he is becoming more and more a PASSENGER in every game i go to ! ( and thats nearly all of em ! )
I just cant work it out ... the guy is totally ineffective .. he puts his head and feet on more in his own box where invention is not priority ....
Im totally lost ......... what the .... do we do with him ?
Fuller cant get on .. Etherington comes on too late .. injured ?
Start them then we can at least bring them off if 2 up !
but no sit back again and get undone and my word did we ... lucky get a point and that could prove vital looking at the fixtures ... 10 left 4 against top 5 teams
I will leave the rest to the imagination..
But on the other hand i suppose the teams below us saying the same lit.
The only prob is we aint looking good at all entering the final frontier lol
    <yikes>

Everything I was going to say has already been said. We were totally average tonight, not Premier League average either, if we played like that against Brighton in the FA Cup we would have lost that match. Yes the officials were utter rubbish BUT as a team on the whole we were terrible, we played aimless balls over the top and gave away possession far too cheaply every single time we tried to create, when we did create it amounted to the square root of **** all.

That was utterly shameful and those players should be ashamed of themselves, as should the manager and the whole backroom staff.
I thought we started the season off playing some decent football, mixing our play up quite well but it appears that we seem to have reverted back to the horrible toss that we all know like the back of our hand. If Pulis wants to make some changes I think, nay I KNOW they need to start with the playing style being altered and at this rate it'll feel like a complete change of style to the players out there.

Well done West Brom, you played well and deserved so much more than a point, the Britannia Stadium is no longer a fortress for us Potters and the quicker football teams start to realise this then the faster we start to become a sinking ship, that is if you already don't think we are a sinking ship.

This is all VERY worrying, changes need to be made so try to actually play players in their rightful position and not with square pegs in round holes, you never were an engineer Tone but it's basic bloody shape within a team, sort it out before it's too late! What happened with the team spirit? The passion? The fight? The guile? The creativity?
It's disappeared and doesn't seem like it's coming back anytime soon!

I've called into work mate, hence the midnight postings.

TOO right !! No a chance in hell IF we play anything like we did tonight mate. Can't go work beakons, I think it might be best to keep well away from a radio this Saturday! I might do some damage with it!

I don't know about anyone else but we WILL lose on Saturday against West Ham as going on tonight's performance, all my hope has pretty much been faded away as we see it all the bloody time, we fail to create anything even at home and always sit back on a lead!
I hope i'm wrong but I really cannot see it and what is it with Kenwyne Jones? My deceased grandmother could put in more effort on a football field and that really says how I feel about the man, he's been so poor it's unbelievable.

Give me back Lawrence and Cresswell any-day of the week in place of that abhorrently horrid excuse of a footballer that is Kenwyne Jones!

He's our joint leading scorer by my count with Huth and Walters, the latter one of only 2 last night deserving of any praise, he was immense was Jonny. Jones got something like 5 in 7 during September and October including 4 successively, but since then his true side has arose, his insane laziness and general crapness.

Can`t disagree with anything that`s been said.We are currently the worst team in the Prem.To be honest I can`t see where the next point is coming from!! We are so predictable that any team who can pass the ball will run rings around us.Defensively we look vulnerable ( Huth and Begovic apart) and attacking wise we haven`t a clue . To persist in humping the long ball up to Carew or Jones without support from midfield is ludicrous.I can`t see how he can change it with the players we`ve got.At least when we had Tuncay he did have an option to change but who is there now? I know Fullers not getting on early enough to make a difference but I personally don`t think his hearts in it after the debacle of the transfer window! I`ve got this gut feeling( just like I have when we are trying to hold on to a 1-0 lead with 5 mins to go) that we are going to go down.Hope to God I`m wrong!!! wah

The worst of it is, I think we were alright for the short time we ACTUALLY PLAYED! Especially for 5-10 minutes after we scored.
We do that far too often, play for probably a total of 20 minutes a match, and then sit back and invites the opposition in.
There was a lad going mental behind me saying "We didn't ****ing play like this at Arsenal!" Don't know how true that is, I was out that night and didn't even get to listen to it, but if we had played that badly against them I think it would have been more than 1-0.

From what people have told me, we were pretty good in the 2nd half against Arsenal and even 1 Arsenal fan claimed we played decent stuff at times

I can forgive them losing, that's football. What is unforgivable is the lack of effort, commitment, drive, passion and determination to win. Put a full shift in, that is very least we can expect. All they have to do in their life of extreme privilege is play football and as professionals they should be ashamed of what they delivered against West Brom; shocking performance.
TP may have got the tactics wrong but the players are responsible for their own performance. If KJ finds it difficult to run for 90 minutes and gets so despondent because he isn't getting the service then put more effort in. The fans deserve far better and i would ask that the players take that thought back to their luxury homes and consider the fans who continue to turn out and support a team that frankly, doesn't deserve their loyalty. Someone needs to get a grip.
