    Sunday 5th October 12pm

With UTD winning against a plucky West Ham, who killed of a very strong Liverpool team, can UTD take on The biggest club in Liverpool...

    ... The mighty Everton

Only because it stops Matth making any (losing) match thread.

Nothing is impossible with this team. The highest highs and the lowest lows. Will LVG get a decent defence in time ?

Fingers crossed, Herrera is back for this one. We're going to need him.

So gutted about our injuries in defence. It really is holding us back and I have to say I'm not feeling confident about outscoring Everton.

I didn't see the game tbh. How was their attack looking? With the likes of Lukaku, Barkley, Etoo, Baines whipping the ball in, I am worried.

1st half was equal, 2nd half Liverpool were better

Only saw the last 20 mins, where Everton looked toothless, (or should that be Luisless) Screamer of an equalizer, must have been travelling faster than an IS truck with an RAF missile up its arse

Really? As far as I know Barkley is injured and while Baines is excellent I don't rate Lukaku or Eto'o one bit.

I'd say our forwards are more than capable of out scoring them.

They've raised their game at Old Trafford in recent seasons. I think it's been down to them being physically stronger as much as the quality of their football. Just seem to be a bit of a bogee team.

United in the last three matches have scored at least 2 goals in the first 30 minutes. Then it seems they settle down for that lead. They will need to keep going without going overboard with the attacking. To try to defend a lead of 2 goals against the likes of Everton, Chelsea or City would be suicidal. People are saying that United are not looking forward to meet these top teams. I bet they are not looking forward to meeting United either.

With the attacking style we have Christian, no team in the prem wants to try and defend against us. The bonus is that our defenders are getting close to match fitness, which will (hopefully) give our defence some stability

I can't wait. These will be good matches to watch. Yes we might get a spanking but with di Maria Falcao and mata, who knows what United could do? Hopefully LVG and his team will be up for it.<ok>
