Our left back played right back, the best right back in the league was on the bench ,a CD played left back and a right winger played central midfield. Our goalkeeper played a shocker kept kicking straight to Utd forwards, our striker couldn't score against a good pub team. Our left winger gave the ball away on his first touch all game , our midfield couldn't set anything up, our best chance, run straight through Utds flimsy midfield was hardly used but always gave us chances and we passed sideways among the back 4 at snails pace. Utd ran our sidelines with success until a proper right back came on for us.
Apart from that we were OK, though still no sign of a Team, just a load of uncoordinated players.

    Agree with all of this.
    Why did James not start?
Why did Jackson miss from 3 yards out?
Why was Caicedo like a headless chicken?
    Why is Mudryk dogshit?
    Same for Sanchez
We paid £160m for Caicedo and Cucurella and they are completely clueless.
Can we stop signing players and managers from Brighton please

Easily winnable game and we completely fluffed it

Why did we pay 100 mil for an average, young and not very good midfielder. Cuckoo has gone ****e again, and to repeat a previous post Sanchez is dog ****. Mudryk is clearly out of his depth.

TBH i think Mudryk will be a great player once up to speed with the PL.
His movement is good and speed is great, a lot of players take a season or so to show their true form when they move here because the pace of most games is a lot higher than other leagues.

Mudryk has got better, and with an ounce of luck would have scored a great goal for us, and we'd be saying how good he is. He does lose the ball first touch much too often. In his defence, without a Chilwell bombing forward to give him overlaps, he is having to do it all himself. I reserve judgement but give him a pass so far.
Cucurella likewise is a left back not a right back, God knows why Poch can't see that !!!! Players out of position usually go pear shaped, though Cucurella should have enough experience to adapt better. I wouldn't throw myself off a cliff if we sold him.
Caicedo is just piss poor so far, Billy Gilmore made him look very 2nd rate. He needs to throw off whatever burden his transfer fee is causing him and play the kind of game we bought him for. Power, speed dynamism, all missing so far. Get selfish and get stuck in and play your own game. He looks like a square peg being pushed by Poch into a round hole.

Wish Poch would play people in their correct positions and get some Teamwork happening, far too many people are getting rubbish gametime by being played where they are not suited. See Madueke has had it with Poch, as well as Ian Maatsen, they never get a look in.
Finally, I think Thiago Silva is definitely on the slide. He's been sluggish, slow, clumsy and accident prone recently. Time to put Colwill into Central defence and get him integrated sooner than later. We're not winning nor playing well with Silva, he obviously needs a bit more rest time and a bit less game time. No reason he can't start, just sub him if he's below his own amazing standards.
