it's refreshing that scholes22 and a few others have been more than gracious about the park transfer. there hasnt been 1 abusive post about it.
I think they should be applauded for that.

Correct Inky. Be advised however that there's a Liverpool fan on the prowl (On the Bircham thread) trying to put a pin in our bubble.

Glad nobody answered his feeble attempt.

Good post Inke, it is noticeable how many fans from other boards/clubs come on here. It is very refreshing.

I wouldn't like to compare the two situations, because there is no comparison, but weren't Newcastle fans just as gracious and congratulatory when we signed a certain Mr B from them?
'Great signing, he'll do wonders for you!' they said at the time and most of us were beaming with satisfaction at the news!!

I suppose the real truth only comes out after a few games; I don't expect we'll regret this one though.

This is what happens when a club and player part on good terms. Park gave his all for United and was revered by the fans. Won everything there is to win bar FA Cup as a United player.

He's 31 now and need games. Good to see United fans acting graciously despite the disappointment
