You know those rating systems are flawed. They don't take into account houses that have more than two television sets and ... other things of that nature.

Stop hiding behind faulty statistics, Burgandy -- I mean, Custard!

Absolutely correct. Think of all those united fans watching upstairs while their mom's watch jerry springer downstairs.

Living in this godforsaken country I've noticed that whoever is the current champions is who every supports over here.

United win- everyones a United fan for the next 12 months. City win- everyones a City fan for the next 12 months. If Liverpool had won- everyone would be a Liverpool fan for 12 months. Had Spurs won then... <laugh> sorry... if Spurs had <laugh> <laugh>

Over the next 12 months almost everyone in the US is going to be a city fan...

    - it's like that with most sports here though. No shame in the US being a glory hunter. They all do it and change allegiance at the drop of a hat.

    That's the American way.

"We're open to all, as long as everyone agrees we're the best country in the world!"

Being American is essentially being a glory hunter

They even call their flag Old Glory. And the 'Glory, Glory' chants in football are set to the rhythm of Winston Churchill's favourite American ditty. As you say, being a glory hunter in America is ... er ... glorified. <ok>
