It might not have been 15k p/w, but I find it impossible to believe that Warnock wasn't present at negotiations, or didn't have some sort of contact with both Bates/Harvey and Clayton over his deal. As far as I see, Warnock didn't think he's worth what he asked for. If Warnock really wanted to keep him, and thought he was worth what he asked for, he would've made sure Bates gave him a new contract, or he'd walk, simple as that. Obviously if we find out he's gone tomorrow morning then I'll look like an idiot
I can't believe anybody who supports Leeds United actually believes Clayton is up for sale because he wants £15k a week, especially with the history of bullshit the Leeds United board have had for many years.
