I think that Van Persie would stay if a Summer of Spending happened. We need this guy to take over and fast.

Doing a Man City may be immoral but it's the only way to compete now.

Had enough of the bullshit.
 
I dont want us to go down the route of spending more than we earn, but the current model hoardes a huge cahs pile and actually makes a net profit on players.

We could spend £30m more a season on players and still make money.

You hit the nail on the head. We earn enough to be able to challenge City and United etc, but we keep buying "potential" and selling them for profit when they start to come good. Or they never come good but Wenger continues to hope they will. This is the bottom line of what our problem is, for years now we haven't bought the right players.
