I just read an article where Everton under the direction of David Moyes want to divert their transfer policies to focus on home grown young talent and develop their game based on that philosophy. They must be fed up with seeing top squads riddled with overseas players who demand ridiculous salaries and generally they only stay briefly before moving on the next high paying club. It is somewhat refreshing to hear about a club committing to having as many home grown players in their squad because as it stands right now it certainly isn't doing the national team any favours. Surely David Moyes having had some previous close ties with Bristol City has to be a possible contact for loan players as they are developed at Everton and need some more playing time before hitting the first team sheet, and what better place than Ashton Gate? We just don't appear to have many irons in those fires and that to me is a deficiency that needs addressing for next season before the thought goes dry again. Come on City get the hell on board and try and show us you can get things right sometime in the future because right now you are sadly laughable.
