Best Driver: Grosjean, Great qualifying, great start, great race
Worst Driver: Sutil, got out qualified by his team mate and crashed into Maldonado.
Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): Dominated his team mate.
Best Team: Red Bull, because... + new pit stop record.
Worst Team: Force India, laughable performance with a car equal to Sauber.

Best Overtake: Webber on Lewis, basically spanked him on the outside.
Funniest-moment: Grosjean wearing a 'cowgirls' hat...
Most Surprising Result: Hulk ending up 6th.
Least Surprising Result: Mercedes being harder on their tyres.

Special Mention to: Vettel on his 8th straight record win.
Race Rating: 0/10 was crap

Best Commentator/Presenter: They don't deserve any praise, but Kravitz and Crofty trying to kid the audience that there was some little hope that Vettel MIGHT! have a gearbox problem and MIGHT not win the race for once. How droll *scoffs*

Best Driver: Bottas
Worst Driver: Sutil or Maldonado
Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): Bottas
Best Team: RBR
Worst Team: Marussia

Best Overtake: Bottas on Gutierrez, apparently it's impossible to overtake in that section....
Funniest-moment:
Most Surprising Result: Bottas
Least Surprising Result: Vettel

Special Mention to: Grosjean for holding 2nd in a much slower car, Vettel another flawless perfformance (Gran Chelems are the only way he'll get DoD), Button making it into the points, & Perez
Race Rating: 6/10, c'mon, so what Vettel won and harvested more tears for his new record, there were overtakes without DRS.

Best Driver:
Grosjean. The young man is beginning to show the promise that was alluded to back in 2009. Becoming a dad has really calmed him down and he now looks the real deal.
Worst Driver:
Maldonado. What a tool, accusing the team of sabotage before damaging his car at T1 and blaming it on Sutil.
Best Rookie:
Bottas. Great accomplished drive, with decisive overtakes.
Best Team:
Who else but Red Bull. Millimetre perfect all weekend, especially the pitstop for Webber.
Worst Team:
Ferrari. Systematically manage to mess everything up pretty much every weekend. Without Alonso they would be nowhere.

Best Overtake:
Bottas on Guitierrez. Brave move that paid off.
Funniest-moment:
Brundle's camera comment When Bottas was up against Guitierrez into T1 the revolving camera on Bottas' car turned to look at the wheel. Brundle said "not sure that's where we shoukd be looking".
Most Surprising Result:
Webber having a problem that didn't retire him.
Least Surprising Result:
Vettel winning.

Special Mention to:
Hulk. If this guy doesn't have a drive next year it will be an utter travesty.
Race Rating: 3/10. A total snooze fest, in fact, that's what I did for about 10 laps in the second half of the race!

Best Driver: Grosjean. Although Vettel was faultless, it's all a bit too easy for him.
Worst Driver: Maldonado once again showed a lack of class. Sutil also poor. I'll split this award between them.
Best Rookie: Bottas.
Best Team: Red Dull.
Worst Team: Marussia.

Best Overtake: Bottas > Gutierrez: a fine move! – Webber > Hamilton was good but DRS assisted, as well as Hamilton needing to brake sooner than normal due to worn tyres.
Funniest-moment:
Most Surprising Result: Williams performance. Bottas did a great job all weekend. In this instance, 'impressive' is perhaps a better description than 'surprising'. He certainly put Maldonado out to pasture…
Least Surprising Result: Vettel win.

Special Mention to: Maldonado: take a year out and do some homework.
Race Rating: 4/10

Best Commentator/Presenter: Not seen either British broadcasts yet, so I'll guess that Ben Edwards was far, far better than the 1970s DJ who thinks the show is 50% about himself.

I think that's a good post, Paco.

Bottas was outstanding, particularly when compared with his team mate. On the other hand, Grosjean's performance relative to his team mate is virtually impossible to compare with Kovalainen's return, i.e. to a completely unfamiliar environment and a car with all sorts of strange buttons.

Good call about Alonso's overtake too. I voted BOT > GUT because Gutierrez is rather unpredictable, especially when defending, and yet Bottas succeeded in one of the most difficult places to pass.

Thanks cosi <cheers>

That's what swung it for me, Bottas was a long ahead of his race-winner team mate, whereas Grosjean beat Heikki who, understandably, was probably still trying to learn the car and was race-rusty.

Also a great move!

Best Driver: Grosjean
Worst Driver: Some drivers got thrashed by their teammate: Maldonado 64 seconds behind, Massa 57 seconds, Chilton 73 seconds, Gutierrez 61 seconds. For the lap 1 crash, I give it to Maldonado

This.

For commentator/presenter I'd say Brundle and Davidson, they did a great piece of analysis before the race comparing rims (wheel rims that is not... y'know) and then these trails coming off the front wings in Friday practice, I forget what they were called but because of the humidity you could see the airflow, Red Bull's was so much more controlled than Ferrari's, I found it really interesting.
