So off we go to the USA on our summer tour.

Football's always been a bit of a side show in the states. But this summer the USA had what by there standards was a great world cup run. They went a decent distance and did it with decent style.

The USA fans traveled in their masses to Brazil to see the show, and as a result 'soccer' has never been more exciting in the USA.

This tour could well be being done with absolutely perfect timing. The excitement could see us arrive with a real buzz, put butts in seats and see as selling merchandise galore.

We could be arriving in perfect timing before the buzz wears off.

Good for us bad for world. Yanks actually recognize a sport? They then have the character, population, money and mentality to win.

When does our FA get embarrassed enough to do .......

Arsenal is only over for one game though aren't they, then straight back.

i thought they had that emirates cup to do and then charity shield.

spurs i think are there as well, had a pre season game against Seattle something or other, was on btsport but didn't watch it.

It sounds like many of clubs may have predicted the USA's world cup.
