    Or Murphy. We have potentially 3 players in the squad who could play there who haven't been tried in position - Ritchie, Murphy and Shelvey. Assuming we aren't going to buy a number 10 I'd be trying one or more of these options because Perez and Diame won't be good enough in the Premier League.

    It's a bit worrying where our strategy for finding a number 10 is trying players who weren't deemed good enough to play there in the Championship...

    Save your money and time if you want to book tickets tonight for a fiver and a tenner. I got through and was told the tickets were taken offline (none at all for sale) this morning and would need to call back tomorrow. **** em, I'm not paying double 'cos they've taken the tickets off sale today forcing people to pay double tomorrow.

    I don't think that is our strategy and I don't think they were necessarily deemed not good enough in the Championship, they just had different roles in the team. Shelvey has played more attacking roles in both the Championship and EPL. I'm told Murphy was playing there in the Championship at least some of the time? What I'm saying is let's play the best players we can in each position and maximise the potential of the squad. At least give it a go in the cup game and see how it goes.

    Doesn't sound like Rafa will be taking the cups too seriously this year from what he has said.
