Or bad news regarding transfers. Poyet wasnt happy with transfer targets being released last season i can only hope were doing lots behind the scenes and that it is just being kept quiet. On a positive note poyet seems to be suggesting that were going to attack more now we have our fullbacks back lets hope so
Poyet wasn;t happy and Sunderland didn;t release names of any targets other than Borini in the summer. Then the papers stated that we chased Borini for 3 months and didn;t want anyone else - when, from what I have heard Poyet saying, that is absolute bullshit - we didn;t get the defender(s) he wanted in the summer and no-one knew who we were chasing. January is an inflated market - much moreso than the summer so we can't really expect massive amounts to happen regardless of what we want. No news is good news IMO
How could i forget haha i reckon we could get good money for altidore simply because the Americans think hes class if we get wot we paid it will be outstanding business
Our whole system depends on it. They provide the attacking balance and the width of this system. It demands pace and the engine to run a flank on their own allowing the inside forwards to play closer to the main striker. With DM role designed to drop back into defence our fullbacks can almost play like wingers, like were were seeing from PVA before his injury. No wonder we've been so tough to beat and so incapable of winning without PVA and Jones.
