Obviously the World Cup is the biggest news at the moment but anyone looking forward to the US Open?

Any thoughts on the winner? Word is the course will favour the big hitters.

As long as Andy Murray is back to full fitness by then. I think Konta is out of sorts and not good enough anyway.

Rose is definitely our best chance. Fleetwood has got the game in his locker but don't think he will manage to get it all together.

I really like watching Justin Rose, he's got that something about him which makes him so likeable.

His putting is miles better recently. He's a really top top player now. I've put a little bit on him for the win.

Hard to say lately, he's been terrible and too fond of partying.

I'd normally say Dustin Johnson, just on form as he is streets ahead. The greens are ridiculously tricky though so I think you need a form player, a fighter and outstanding putter with steely nerve. For that reason I'm going Jason Day.

Look at the scores already. Speith, Day, Mickelson and McIlroy all struggling. Of the big guns you'd say Reed, Rose and Koepka are well positioned. A lot can change over 18 though

The greens are so tough, especially in this wind. If they don't put it within 6ft it's miles off the back. Great seeing them all have to.work for it. DJ looking very good right now though.
