should we as fans admit our club are never gonna be in the premiership or championship and be proud of what we have achieved in such a short space of time or like our owner believe in false dawns and keep believing that one day despite more millions in debt we will get there .personally i loved the non league days and the oneill days when we feared no one and went out every game expecting to win home or away.2 semi finals in major cup competitions is more than most clubs of our size ever achieve in their history so i for one am proud to be a chairboy and take what comes with it ,we are not glory hunters we are wycombe wanderers fans ,steve hayes should stop putting our club on the brink of bankrupcy and stop spending money we dont have and look forward to making us a stable club for the future.

i was just reading on other clubs websites about their fans reasons and beliefs of why they support their clubs and some of them havent had the highs we have and probably never will.we were spoilt by having martin oneill as our manager and the players he brought in were never say die for the shirt,i doubt we will ever see those days again, but i hope i am wrong.

i think the club should be very proud of what we have achieved, and we should only take it one step at a time. people talking about championship/prem are just stupid atm, we first need to focus on reastablishing ourselfs in league one and shaking this yoyo team tag we seem to have picked up. however, unlike what some think, going back to non league is NOT the answer, the amount of teams that have gone down there then struggled to come back is very high and we would not want to have that issue

Maybe peoples view of the non-league days are blinkered by the success we had from 1991 onwards.
The MON days were full of optimism, great results, Wembley finals and progress. The Conference days may not be so rosy next time around if we are just another run of the mill club sitting in mid table. I'm sure most Luton / Wrexham / Cambridge / Grimsby / Lincoln / Mansfield / York / Stockport fans are desperate to get back in the football league.
Be careful what you wish for!
