Nice banner He's had a good match and a good tournament generally i think. Though he still seems to score fewer goals than he should given the opportunities (which he often creates himself). He doesn't win himself any fans with his whinging about everything though (he reminds me of Bellamy on that regard), he grabs the ball and then complains he gets booked - not sure what he expected.
Yeah lol; I'd say the back of the LFC team bus must be like listening to Statler & Waldorf if those two get going!
Really? I think he's looked very tired, sluggish. Bit off his usual sharpness and his touch has been a little lacking. Haven't seen any of his trade mark runs to the byline, cutting inside and so on.
Suarez wasn't at his best but he still showed a lot more fight and determination than his compatriots. Still made a few of his trademark dribbles though as well as his constant hounding of the defenders. I've noticed that Suarez seems to be a lot more accurate with his shots when the chance is more difficult - he tends to find the corners of the goal a lot better. It's only when he's only a few yards away from the keeper and should score, does he actually fluff it.
only goes to show... football fans let the entire country down. when every other event is a celebration they targeted one man in all three of his nations games... in other countries, particularly in south American they take the Olympics more seriously so it will be noted and i think many young players might be put off playing in England frankly. for ther ecord suarez was poor enough, missed loads in both game sthey lost and i'm glad we get him back sooner as a result.
well it reminds me in part of beckham abuse in 1999. its cheap and ignorant and just shows how the rest of the sports are well followed by a better sort of crowd. hell at the boxing you'd not get that stuff. if bellamy has to beg welsh fans to respect the uks national anthem is bad... good job the fa didn't appoint anyone to team gb just as guilty as suarez.. oh wait... didn't hear booing for pearce did we? hmmm....
I just hope to see Terry and Rio equally abused throughout the whole season absolutely everywhere they play.
not a chance. a list of clubs sure to boo every suarez touch can be written right now utd wigan west ham villa west brom norwich qpr reading. in fact there are only a couple of club i reckon won't do it... stoke and everton in particular.... city fans don't seem to know when to boo or cheer now. funny how you'd forgive the mancs for doing it cos you know why they are doing it but the rest are just being scum really.
I recall Stoke booing/chanting about suarez during the Carling Cup match. Which is odd as the Stoke crowd are usually pretty good. At the end of the day, the best way to silence these pricks is by Luis scoring a shed load of goals and winning matches.
i thought wigan fans were the worst of all, seeing 90% of the "fans" in that day were mancs on a day trip. beckham played for england and went on solo i take all corners, frees etc to be the national hero after 1998.. suarez can't do that and is foreign so i expect there'll be endless abuse form certain clubs. i find the midlands most like this frankly. the london clubs are too posh to cheer let alone boo... the north east are generally decent unless your from there in which case you either betrayed them or are a rival... and of course scousers only abuse their own... and mancs.
I remember them booing him like 3 seconds before he nut megged one of their players and then curled the ball into the net. Gotta love it
we'll see, they usually are the best away fans at anfield but we'll see. comment most likely to be made this summer. "naymar put of joining chelsea due to english nationalistic abuse towards spanish players" mind you when he's joining real madrid for tax free money i think it'd be a stretch but you get the drift.
