Since moaning at others for not paying attention to the lower leagues when we were down there, I have subsequently lost all interest in anything below the premier - hypocrite I know!!

So here's my thoughts on relegation from the Prem...

West Ham - I don't think the style of play Sam Allardyce employs and the squad they have will cut the mustard this year.
Southampton - I reckon they will cause a few upsets and probably get off to a get start, but I see them doing a bit of a Blackpool and slipping away.
Finally I hate to say it....but - Norwich - They did marvellously last year, but I can't see Holt doing it again and I'm not sure they have anyone else that can replace his goals...

That said, if Martinez leaves Wigan they don't stand a chance, and if Lambert can't replicate what he did with Norwich, then Villa would be a good outside bet. Reading will do ok and just sneak safety.

It's just lovely not to feel like we're in amongst that lot! Maybe a bit over-confident as we're not sure how ML will go, but I'm not overly concerned...yet ;)

My feelings are that where we beat a few of the so called top 6 ,this time round they'll be more than prepared to face us this time round and they'll have strengthened (as if that makes a difference for us against the likes of Utd ,Chelsea & Citeh) .so to get anything v those will be a fanatstic achievement .Where we need to be more positive is at Home against the likes of Wigan .Stoke etc ,where points were dropped ,I know it was new to the team last year they will have gained from the experience . Arsenal , Spurs & Newcastle will not be as effective as last year and i think we're more than good enough to get something from those games ,

Relegation for me will be Southampton, Wigan & West ham

<laugh> Norwich fans can be protective, NS so prepare for incoming. I agree I don't think Holt will pose the same threat this time. Just a feeling.

The only team I can see struggling for certain is Wigan. Don't think there's been much player movement and you can only do it by the skin of your teeth so many times. The rest? I really don't know.
