I'ma bit bored at work today so I thought I'd look at the ups and downs from the other end of the tube, so to speak.

    Going into today's games...

    Premier League
At the top, only teams down as far as Liverpool can mathematically win the title, while Wigan's dream of a Champions League spot is over.
At the bottom, Man Utd, Man City and Spurs are mathematically safe from relegation.

    Championship
At the top, automatic promotion is now out of the question for Nottingham Forest and those below them. If Pompey lose today they can forget about the play-offs.
At the bottom, Southampton, Reading and West Ham have already avoided relegation.

    League One
At the top, if Exeter, Chesterfield, Wycombe or Rochdale are to reach the Championship it will have to be via the play-offs.
At the bottom, Charlton and the Sheffield clubs are safe and could be joined by Huddersfield and MK Dons today

    League Two
At the top, The playoffs are the only promotion route open to Plymouth Argyle and Dagenham & Redbridge
At the bottom, Cheltenham and the sides above them are assured of League status next season.

    Conference
At the top, only Wrexham, Luton, Mansfield, York and Southport can catch Fleetwood, although the latter 3 could be out of the running after today. Stockpot, Lincoln, Hayes, Darlington, Kettering and Bath can forget about the playoffs.
At the bottom, Southport and the sides above them are safe from the clutches of Conference North and South.

    Conference North
At the top, Blyth Spartans and Eastwood Town are out of contention for the playoffs.
At the bottom, Hyde are mathematically safe from relegation

    Conference South
At the top, Thurrock's dream of reaching the Conference National is over as they can't reach the playoffs
At the bottom, Woking, Dartford, Welling and Sutton Utd fans can forget about wondering if it will be the Southern or Isthmian League next season as they're safe.

    I think we'll leave it there..... <ok>
