I woke up this morning and upon recollecting what occurred last night i immediately had a smile on my face.

How sweet it is to actually realise we won. At home. And scored 4. WE WON!! AND SCORED 4!! FOUR!!

Sorry, have to keep telling myself so that it sinks in that its really true. Its been so long coming that i actually couldnt remember what it felt like.

Thank you Marti and the Hoops.

Now, lets build on this!!!

Absolutely Hoop Lief - what a great feeling!

Hopefully the players are feeling the same relief and excitement. We need them to believe. In the manager; in themselves and in one another.

Getting above the line is doable. The gap means it’s a slow climb at first but once you claw your way back into the muddle of six or seven clubs rotating results anything is possible.

All good, Hoop-leif,
It just shows that you’re a great supporter and love your team. Well done.

Exactly this. I'd genuinely forgotten what it feels like when your beloved side wins a football match. Endless weeks and months of having to swallow rank bad football, gutting disappointment, crushing bad luck, players who clearly don't care as much as I do and that familiar hollow disappointment of yet another loss. Or a draw snatched from victory.
I'd given up watching them live on TV as I thought I must be the jinx. And it all made me so angry. But when I saw we'd equalised, I took my life in my hands and stuck the red button on. Immediately, I saw Larkeche doing that heroic thing down the left and then the net bulge. I nearly hit the ceiling. And then Willock smashed home like he used to. Absolute ecstasy. With all the sh*** going on in the world, all the continual lies and ineptitude of this rotten self-serving government, a rare spark of joy. Waking up like an excited kid again. All because the Rs won a football match. My missus said she hadn't seen me so happy for months. Ridiculous, that at my age, a QPR win can still do that to me. Please do it again on Friday night, lads.

The Sun's shining, the Frost is melting and the R's won away up North on a freezing cold Friday night up North in front of the Sky cameras giving a 2nd half masterclass that none of us would have thought possible 5 weeks ago.......

Life's good........

Mrs Hoop-Leif: "Ah, that's sweet, he's smiling as he snoozes, he must be thinking of me."

Hoop-Leif, muttering in his sleep: "Marti Cifuentes...paella...estrella... hates Chelsea..."

Mrs Hoop-Leif: "FFS".
