Update on the Transfer front

    The Paul Benson deal now looks unlikely, as he didn't agree on personal terms and has decided he's not keen on joining a rival club. Bit of an odd U-turn but to be honest the Charlton fans don't seem to rate him as an 'all-round striker'. Just a goal scorer apparently but nowhere near Moro standards.

    The move for Carlo Costly is also off. Apparantly he'd rather be joining a Premier League team if he was to return to England, but is also being approached by a Greek side and a mid-table Spanish side.

    We're also after Emmanuel Mayuka from BSC Young Boys. But they're not keen on selling as he still has four or so years left on his contract.

    I'll let you all know when I hear more.

    Any news on whether Hughes is going to villa or Chelsea?

    Or did he just quit Fulham to escape that nutter Al Fayed ;)

    Its a done deal as the bookies wouldn't have made him 1/20 on if they weren't sure otherwise the price would have be much longer. <ok>
