I donât want to put a number of how many players I want to bring in or say too much about who I am looking at, I like to keep things close to my chest. It is a quiet time at the moment, but we are working hard, and in an ideal world I would like my squad in place before we start back for pre-season training at the end of June.â Darrell is looking to bring in a mix of youth and experience, and he knows that pace and goals are crucial. He said: âWe know where we need to prioritise, we need more pace and we need goal scorers. I want goals throughout the team. It is important to get the right balance in terms of positions, but it is also important to get a good mix of young hungry players and those with experience.â

Keeping his powder dry. The more I hear from DC the more happy I am that he is our manager and re-shaping the squad. Strange we had to come down to the conference before we could see the clearing through the decaying forest. Now the deadwood has been cut out let's hope he can steady the ship more than anyone else that has come within the last 4 years.
