    Just went and got hold of my tickets for the Fulham game on Sunday and the Spurs game on 28th! Just thought I'd give you an update on ticket sales;

    Fulham is well on its way to being a sell out (or more likely around the 30,000 mark as against Villa). Wanted 3 tickets and there was nowhere left in Kingsland North so ended up back in Itchen North again (like the Villa game). Fingers crossed for a simular result!

    Spurs actually looks like it is almost a sell out already! Admittedly I was after 5 tickets but there was nowhere except for near the back in a Kingsland North block. When we looked through all the corners and Northam was practically completely sold out. Should be a very exciting game and if you are thinking of going I would advise getting down to the ticket office asap before they are all gone!

    Gotta say I am feeling particularly good about Saints atm. My confidence that we will stay up comfortably is growing by the day; mainly because of both our own performances and with each poor showing from teams like; QPR, Norwich, Reading, Swansea, Villa, Wigan & even Stoke! How is everyone else feeling atm?

    Very well, thank you for asking. :)
    Looking forward to the game, hoping we put on a good performance & Gaston builds on what I think has been a strong start to his Saints career. Be good to get away from internet speculation for a while as well, I must say!

    Yes I've got my tickets and can't wait! Only thing I noticed with the Villa game is was how quiet some of our supporters are? Common everyone got to let our players know we are at the staduim! COYR's

    Wasn't there but every-time Stelling cut to our game the crowd sounded loud. Seem to recall Nigel praised the noise made afterwards as well.

    They did their... There's-Only-One-Nigel-Adkins rendition. Nigel provided the stiff upper lip and the applause back to the crowd. :)

    HR I also am hoping for a few more impressive performances from Ramirez. Be nice to get him a bit more recognition because actually he has been superb. Lazy boy I agree that for parts of the game it was a little quiet. Think the crowd started off a bit nervously but then mainly once we went 1 down it was very quiet. Tends to happen with goals so close to half time and given that I think we had been the better side so it could be that. Once we got our goal thought the support was fantastic. Only ever 1 winner on the pitch and off it then! And yeh the support for Nige was amazing during that game. Anyone know if there was there any of that during the Everton game?

    The team got great support at Everton, and cries of Bring Back Hoddle were not heard once - support for Nigel was strong!

    Struggled to get 2 tickets together for Spurs....though we're close enough to the pitch to get a game<laugh> I am pleased that it's not hard to get tickets if you think ahead...I really thought it would be impossible. I think it's important that everyone has a chance to buy occasional tickets.

    My mood?....down to 65% happy....ask me again after Sunday's game.

    Teams that can score don't get relegated - as long as we keep scoring we will be fine. We don't play the top sides every week....clearly a concept some people fail to grasp.

    So my mood is fine.

    I started with quite low expectations but am happy to say the results don't support my worst fears - that we are hopelessly out of our depth and no part of our game is PL quality.

    We're not a disaster, and my mood is slowly but surely improving, just like our performances I hope :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but did anyone see the alternative league table this week on MOTD2? It was for fouls committed per game. West Hoof were obviously top (even before their Monday game!), but Southampton were bottom. Reading were third bottom. Are we too polite to properly compete in this league? Tactical naivety from the big man? Everton-Southampton was the best behaved game of the season apparently. Are we going the Arsenal route, and lack steel in midfield? Notice that Fulham were pretty close to the bottom too - are we in for a tame one this Sunday? Bloodless 0-0?

    I totally agree. No way are we one of the three worst teams in this league even now, and as you say we are improving. When they say "they are too good to go down" typically the team they are referring to that is near the bottom simply can't score goals. We can.

    It's a shame Redknapp was sacked from Saints, his St Mary's return would have been interesting.
