The Scottish Government is to introduce tougher laws in order to crack down on sectarian abuse and those who "peddle religious hate" on online forums.

It has now taken UEFA and the Scottish Gov't to tackle this problem head on. Just shows you how toothless, cowardly and useless the SFA really are.

The politicians are as feeble as the SFA. Kenny MacAskill one weeks says the league cup final was fantastic and that the fans were great. Then a week later when pulled about the singing from the Rangers fans he says "all forms of sectarian and racist abuse and chanting have no place in our national game, or indeed anywhere in our national life. It is totally unacceptable and indeed illegal".

(To quote) "Only a politician could claim that ‘players, management and fans contributed to a memorable occasion’ then a week later describe it as totally unacceptable and indeed illegal." <laugh>

Hmmmm

A popular bandwagon and the SNP jump right on board!

Up to 5 years - a tad over the top is it not.

I wonder what the two bombers will get if convicted?

I reckon they may be charged under terrorism laws and they are in for a severe shock when the charges are read to them. I'm not exagerating but I reckon they are looking at 10 years minimum...if they are indeed found guilty of Terrorist charges.
