Great to see us of the bottom, well done all! We have a tough next fixture, but the table is looking tight and if we can string a few wins together we will soon be mid table.

It was also great to see us score more than one goal, only the second time that has happened this season.

Good result, four defenders in defence and two strikers up front made a difference today. Two points from safety makes survival look a lot more likely, a loss today would've been very worrying.

Did Chambers play RB or did we play 3-5-2?

Yep a loss today would have been terrible, physiologically the table looks so much better now. However we will need to change the team for the next game with Wellens going, I expect Drury will come in but I'd like to see Hyam as I think he offers us a bit more steal that Drury.

Is DJ only here until Xmas? If so we need to extend his loan for the season!

I believe we only have dj till Xmas. However have heard mick wants to extend. And bearing in mind he had no squad number I'd say we have a chance to keep him.

Good to see Tommy Smith back in the team.
Did he play left back with Cressy LM or
Did Chambo play right back with Carlos RM?

Or did we go 3 at the back with wing backs?....

These are the questions that haunt me

Why only a yellow card for a punch in the head, off the ball?

Why were we penalised for a kick to the head (defender had his head at waist level) and Burnley escaped with no punishment for a head high kick to the head?

Why 5 mins extra at the end of the second half? Did someone die?!

**** refs. Why do we always get **** refs?

He must be gutted we won.

    Aaaaaaaah!

More of the same please. Minus the own goal of course...

Chambers was at right back, Carlos right wing. Tommy Smith had a great game, attacking the high balls forward. 4-4-2 was the formation.

Was just about to say the same, Welly.

Not sure if it was because it was McCarthy's first home game or if Clegg had been giving away free beer again, but the atmosphere today was 20 times better than usual.

Mind you, 2-1 and we scored them all. That probably had something to do with it too! <whistle>

played 352 first half which appeared to work well in some ways, not in others. Changed to 442 at half time.

    Charlie who?

Oh, Charlie 'watch me throw my toys out of my pram and act like a Leeds fan by pushing the opposition keeper over' Austin.

    Bwah ha ha!

If someone had offered me 6 points out of 9 at beginning of last week I would have bitten their bloody arm off! I thought McCarthy was excellent today in the way he just stood on the touchline all game constantly barking out instructions and encouragement. We have almost doubled our total number of points this week and to win after being pegged back today was a great show of determination.

Yes a few negatives around the performance but the result is all that matters and we are finally being turned into a coherent team! N'Daw, Wellens and Coker were superb as the midfield 3 and special mention to N'Daw as he was just immense. Edwards deployed in the RM role grew in confidence and second half was creating some good opportunities. DJ is a must keep player. At the back Tommy was solid but Henderson for me is not commanding enough and was at fault for the equaliser. The ref had a shocker but that's what we have become use to at PR.

Whatever McCarthy said to them at half time must have been ringing in their ears for the start of the second half because they looked up for it and more confident. Difficullt games ahead but a definate improvement has been made and Big Mick must take a large slice of credit.

It was 442 all game, Chambers was poor 1st half, that is being kind to him as well. He was much improved 2nd half though..

N'Daw was MOM so will get dropped next game.....oh hold on a jewell has gone, sorry could not resist..!

Much better performance today especially 2nd half, the players actually looked like the result mattered to them, very happy tractor boy tonight, a huge cheer went up when they showed the league table in Rileys after the game.!

A couple of negative points to think on, Hendersons distribution was poor all game and why oh why are we making a sub when defending a free kick....golden rule never make a tactical change when defending free kicks & corners..!
