I expect Altidore to start and Wickham to come on and replace him at some point. That has been the pattern thus far. Although Ji could prove to be the unknown in this one.

Problem starting Wickham as that he is too much like Altidore in respect to strong, hold up players. I think we'll play 1 up front and play sess behind.

That would have been my thoughts . DO you reckon wickham is in pdc `s long term plans ?... I heard pdc loves colback and he also as beefed up a bit . Not to sure if colback is staying or not I hope he does myself , as I love his attitude .

I'd love Colback to stay and work at left back. I think PDC will cast his eye over Wickham this season. He has already had a run in with him and if he can get though to him then he may start to shine. If he doesn't then he'll be off in January for around 4 million. TBH the young Swedish kids looks sharper and may be the 4th forward after JI. I even see that Watmore had a really good run out v harrogate.

pdc is likely to stick with altidore up top, he's his new star striker after all. i'd rather see whickham play as i'm a big fan and he's no doubt getting fed up with being on the sidelines, same as westwood who's also being usurped by a new signing. i'm not convinced altidore even knows where the ball is let alone the goal (asia trophy v spurs/previous prem record being my only basis for this argument). hope he proves me wrong but it seems like altidore's supposedly superior link up play will see him favoured over whickham.

Most of us know little about Jozy, so I'm going to go with our scouting team decision to sign him a watch with bated breath.
