Considering the spate of injuries we've sustained over a hectic and disappointing festive period, I think a lot of fringe / young players are in line to make starts. Sheffield United will likely do the same, and let's not overlook the fact they've been poor form themselves over recent weeks. So I expect to see the likes of Luke Woolfendon, Ben Folami, Adam McDonnell, and Ben Morris. It will be interesting to see if Bart plays, considering the transfer interest and the effect being cup-tied could have on his potential price tag. I expect both McCarthy and Wilder are not hoping for replay here, so I'll go for a narrow 2-1 home win to Town. A good chance for some of the academy boys to step up and put themselves in the first team picture.
Neither side want this match.. It'll be a drab and boring 0-0 with the added insult of having to go back up to their place to relive it all over again in the replay.
On the basis I'm China bound Feb and the fa cup 4th round is probably the only fixture I can attend, PLEASE win today.
Sounds another exciting adventure Westy, teaching or working! Hope you got the employment contract sorted and checked this time. Best of luck, and lets hope you get some signal/reception out there. Beautiful country, much to explore and experience. Both my grandfather's worked/lived there, funny thing that. Als0 lets hope we are not in League 1 when you come back!
Is it really since 2010 that we have not won an FA Cup match? Put that right today boys...and there will be some boys on the park by the sound of it.
Very quiet on here. Promising signs from this quite attack-minded team. Waggy on gives a lift. Should have had a penalty 1st half. Nice to get a win here, lift all morale.
TBH, I expect none of us wish for a replay with our injuries. Main positive is Luke gets a good run-around.
Same old boring dross! We haven't won a cup game in 8 years! Peterborough Stuck 3 passed Villa Away from home and Marriott scored 2 of them! McCarthy you're a Cnut!
Ha, ha, ha. I can't even be bothered to dissect that. Club is in decline and has been since ME took over. All three 'M's can **** off.
