Wouldn't fancy a trip down there.

The last one sort of put me off a bit.

Wouldn't mind getting Wigan at home just to give us the chance to pass on our best wishes to Mr Mcmanaman. Would be a shame for him to miss out on that just cos of a minor relegation issue.

Nah a lowly side coming to St James all the way to the semi final will do me

I hope we don't play a weakened side at all, no matter who the opposition. With no Europe we should have a real go

I know I'm old fashioned, but I don't think there's ever an excuse for playing a weakened team in the cup. Its always had a special place in our history and its a history we should want to add to not dismiss for the league.

Have a word with Pards about that.

It would give us all a lot of hope to have a good cup run and get to Wembley.

Had no problem last year when in Europe. If you haven't got a massive squad, you can't just run them into the ground. No such concern this year and we're already out of the other one.

That's where Ashley should have given AP a big enough squad to cope with Europe though, but no point going over that ground again.Like you say though, nothing to stop us this year. I'd love us to go on another one of our good cup runs.

The Arsenal v Spurs game should be a cracker, and it'll be interesting to see how our last two opponents, Man Utd and Swansea come out of their tie. Should be a one horse race but Moyes might play a very weakened team (if he's still in charge) to concentrate on the league.

I hope Pardiola realises that if he wins a trophy here he will go down in Toon history as a legend (to everyone, not just Hacky...), and so plays a full strength team
