Ok here it is, the unofficial greatest Wycombe Wanderers team of the last 25 years voted for by you, the fans.

I recieved over 100 votes from this and other forums and fans and have found the following.

The greatest Wycombe team 1986-2011 (ive gone for 4-4-2)

    1. Martin Taylor 1997-2003. 238apps. Great goalkeeper played in the PL with Derby before us. Key figure saving penalities in our famous FA Cup run in 2001.

    2. Jason Cousins 1991-2002. 473apps 9 goals. Tough tackling right-back, a regular in our defence for much of the 11 years with the club. Who can forget goal against Runcorn in the 1993 trophy final?

    3. Mickey Bell 1995 - 1997. 136apps 7 goals. Maybe a suprise to some due to his messy departure from the club but nevertheless a flying left back who loved skinning opposing full backs. Scored a couple of belters aswell.

    4. Roger Johnson 2000-2006. 156apps 19 goals. Towering centre-half, nicknamed Magic after the basketball player now being courted by teams like Arsenal and Aston Villa after a successful seaon with Birmingham winning the league cup. A true success story for our youth system.

    5. Terry Evans 1993-1997. 157apps 19 goals. 'Big Tel' was a firm fans favourite. Strapping, tough in the tackle and a nack of late goals, centre forwards knew they'd been in a battle with this guy. Returned to the club as Physio.

    6. Keith Ryan 1987-2004. 517 apps 50 goals. 'Rhino'- Scorer of the goal that sent us wild in the FA Cup semi final in 2001. Played in just about every position for us in his career and even spent time as our caretaker boss. Also player in every Wembley appearance.

    7. Dave Carroll 1988-2002. 602 apps 100 goals. Nicknamed Jesus by the fans. A stalwart in midfield capable of acts of magic including Wembley 1994 play-off final and a belting freekick vs Wrexham. Most appearances for the club than any other professional player. A true legend.

    8. Steve Brown 1993-2003. 443 apps 43 goals. Our very own Paul Ince. He governed midfield and on many occasions set the tone for the game with a thumping tackle on opposing players early on in games. Player of the season twice. No-one will forget the t-shirt tribute to his sick son in the Cup Quarter Final 2001.

    9. Mark West 1984-1992. 381 apps 171 goals. Scored crucial goals in crucial games, notably THAT goal against Kidderminster at Wembley in 1991, the start of some great times and a glorious run at the home of football. A great shame he never played in the League for us.

    10. Simon Garner 1994-1996 66apps 15 goals. Came to us in the twilight of his career but left a great impression. Fans loved him, he loved a half time whiskey and ***. This guy gave us a touch of class in our early days as a league team and the fact that he is ahead of Alan Shearer as Blackburn's leading scorer says a lot.

    11. Steve Guppy 1989-1995 & 2004 - 269 apps 26 goals. Our first England international. This geezer was an absolute flyer of a winger. On his day could tear another team apart on his own at any level. Went on the play in the PL with the likes of Leicester and in Scotland with Celtic before spells at Leeds and Stoke.

    Subs (next top 3 votes)

    12. Nikki Bull 2010 - present. 53apps. Great shot stopper, fans favorite.

    13. Glyn Creaser 1988-1995 92apps 6 goals. Formiddable in the centre of defence.

    14. Gareth Ainsworth 2009-present - 56apps 12 goals. Crucial in our promotion season. Oozes class having played for QPR (and managed!), Wimbledon and Preston.

Manager- without a doubt there is only one god. Mr Martin O'Neill- his assistant would be Waddock :)

Big thanks to all who contributed. All of the comments and nostalgia trips have been much appreciated, we have such a great club with terrific fans.

Coming soon......the greatest individual player as voted by fans.........(on the net and forums i go on too :) )

A very good post but three or four of these would not make my starting XI. I have issues with the centre backs and strikers in this side. My choices are undoubtedly going to divide opinion quite a lot but here goes..........Andy Kerr and Jamie Bates would be my centre backs with Keith Scott and Nathan Tyson as my two up front.

Cheers guys. This isnt my ideal XI either but its what came from the vote. I would have liked to have seen Keith Scott in there somewhere.

MBU -Not sure about Jamie Bates though. Good player and everything but sureley not as influencial etc as Creaser, Evans, Kerr, Crossley??

Rocky- We can be well proud of our club and some of the great players we have had come our way in a relatively short time in the league. Players at the end of their careers like Regis, Garner, Ainsworth etc to guys we have produced like Johnson, Phillips etc. Super Blues!

Bates may not have been the best of the centre backs I admit, but I just think that him and Kerr together would have been immense. Paul McCarthy even warrants a mention.

Luke Oliver, Niall Thompson. Andy Thompson, John Sutton, Steve Jones to name but a few for the worst team!

Thommo was great but not better than those listed originally. I agree with the vast majority of that Devonblue, blimey you can't have much on at the moment doing all of this... the only thing I would say is not Nathan Tyson up there... he was really good for us, but I think John Kerr was up there, i'll never forget his second half hatrick at home to Kidderminster when we were 3-0 down...
