An un-named tycoon is reportedly about to buy Havant & Waterlooville FC. Not much is known about the buyer, but he apparently aims to have the Hawks in the Premier League by 2025. Rumour has it that he is big in carpets and made the announcement while standing on A Display Floor at one of his showrooms. Oddly he said he would have made the announcement before today but he's been very ill. He is only well enough now because he took his doctor's advice to eat Salad if Poorly. It is alleged that he initially wanted to buy Pompey but he assured reporters that that was simply a Fad Sailor Ploy to keep every-one off the scent. He says he is buying the Hawks in honour of his old university lecturer who, as a Liverpool fan, has had a soft spot for the Hawks since their FA Cup tie in 2008.
