followed the game today and it sounds like you were very unlucky to not get something from it. I know some of you are in the dumps at the mo, and grumbling about inevitable relegation, but i really can't see it happening. 1 point from a possible 27 is an extraordinarily bad patch, but it won't continue. You have a new manager who seems to be ambitious, you have money to back up that ambition, and you have some good players in your squad already. I think the survival mark will be 37 ish this year, very doable. Whilst Blackburn have got some great results of late, all their talent is leaving like rats from a sinking ship, and with the yak out they will struggle further. Bolton look pretty rubbish all said, and Wigan have also suffered from an exodus of talent last year. So good luck from here on, things will get better, and as a Norwich fan i want this to be the year all 3 promoted sides prove we belong in the prem!
Cheers mate, we just aren't getting the breaks right now. Against your good selves I think we'd have won had Barton not been unjustly sent off. West Brom at home we scored a great goal that would have put us 2 up which was ruled out. Swansea, the referee saw a handball before their goal but decided it wasn't deliberate. Arsenal, Wright-Phillips decides to pass the ball to Van Persie at a time when we're looking good for a point etc etc. The wind has to change eventually.
Agreed. Our season will be won or lost over the next six league games. Our final eight or so games are horrendous but there's a great opportunity now to get a half-decent striker in and beat Wigan, Wolves etc. I'm still upbeat, but QPR fans have a knack of falling into a deep depression.
thought we looked stronger today just no-one to put it in the net. first half very good. second half no movement off ball but Hughes has only had 4 days with them.
true, goal scoring instinct is a mercurial thing. Once its unearthed theres often a rich seam to be mined.
One plus point of our position in the clouds as away fans today, is that it was easy to see the entire pitch at once This allowed a clear view of our lack of movement in the second half and our seeming inability to keep onside when it really mattered The Newcastle defence probably couldn't believe how easy they had it second half - we spent more time passing sideways or backwards then looking to make ground None of our front players consistently makes space, and this invariably leads to indecision in midfield Unless we start scoring goals starting next Saturday (or, preferably on Tuesday) the gap between us and safety will become impossible very quickly But I have a horrible feeling that our search for that goal machine is going to come to nothing - other clubs know we're desperate now
Oh Beth....Beth, Beth, Beth...I really need some help with that!! I think we're in deep, deep trouble!!!
