Word is Gary Nevilles set to be removed from his position as a club ambassador due to a conflict with his other jobs.

Its got nothing to do with calling the club that made him a pub team. Honest <ok>

    Thoughts?

IMHO to do so would be childish, petty and unworthy of a great club like Manchester United.

It would be the right thing to do. Are you aware of what a club ambassador does?

    Promotes the club.

His media job clearly doesnt fit with his united role. Hes obviously happy to remain with sky amd fair play to him. Hes very good at it (united comments aside)

On the plus side, van gaal will use his comments against the club forever. Great motivational tool to have.

Come on lads, even legends are putting you down. Lets shut these guys up.

I agree there is conflict of interest.

Neville is wearing too many hats at the moment.

He can come back to the club once he's done with England.
As long as he's not burnt his bridges by then!

With reason. Keane, Scholes and Neville can't all be wrong can they?

He's been honest as a pundit but you can't be an ambassador for something that you may have to be honest about, promoting the club means that you have to put across the good things and at times leave the bad to other parties. I would agree that it would make sense to cut that tie at the moment but for the club to remember his years of service and make sure that there is always a link.
