No big signings in the transfer window. No Pogba, Strootman, etc...

United have endless funds to carry on buying forever and ever and ever.

They have proven they can still attract the most-desired players on the planet (Blind, Falcao, Ferrera, Shaw).

It is just that they just don't need any new players: the squad is complete.

Andy Kellett was the final piece of the jigsaw.
It's just that van Gaal's lost the box and he's not sure what he did with the corner bits.

Apparently Kellett was more shocked than anyone. He thought he was off to Plymouth. Hopefully he is over the disappointment by now.

Apparently, something was lost lost in translation. van Gaal wanted to sign more players so like Blind, the board tried to sign Helen Keller

Ronaldo £300m (according to his agent) Messi £200m, Bale £120m,
Hummels £47m - FFP don't matter if you aren't in Europe so perhaps United intend to finish 7th again

Hazard is for sale. In Chelseas desperate state we could probably get him for 35million. They will neee the money to buy two new centre backs.

I wouldn't want Hazard he is the most overrated player in world football IMO. All tricks but very little end product.

As far as the OP is concerned, Rome wasn't built in a day. Enjoy your position whilst you can, as once you run out of players to sell you'll be scrapping around for penny's, and our far superior revenue will catapult us above you.

In 2-3 years time the top players in the world won't even look at Chelsea, they'll be coming to a club that has the revenue to finance them.

So you are saying you can't attract the best players currently.

And they are only coming to United for the €€€€

We didn't attract the best players towards the end of Fergies era as the Glazers where happy to rely on SAFs brilliance, rather than compete with yourselfs and City for the top stars. We over achieved because we had Fergie in his final few seasons.

Money makes the world go around, and that's how 90% of people think. Players will go where they are getting the best contracts, wether that be at Ourselves, Chelsea or City.

Players will 90% of the time go to the team who offers the most, so yes they will come to us for the money, the same as they've been going to you lot for the money for the past decade.

The tables have now turned in our favour since FFP has come into play. It's only just been introduced so it will take a few seasons, but sooner rather than later the teams with the biggest revenues will rise to the top. Not the teams with the wealthiest owners

Agree, hopefully we'll be in a new stadium with increased revenues by then.

You had better hope United don't lose their commercial appeal and their revenues go down <ok>

Now that's the puzzling bit isn't it! All that money and you end up with D-Minus who can't play 90 minutes and has been lack-lustre to say the least. Then we have the issue with the £40million pound sick note dwarf who is apparently going back to Monaco due to his inability to hit a cows arse with a banjo.
