i heard this yesterday on sunday supplement, what a load of ****, if this was any other team, they would'nt be saying it, i think the pundits and press are underrating us this season in my opinion in terms of how owe're 12 points clear.
We've only ever won the Premier League when it's been mediocre, including the season that we also won the European Cup by beating an English team in the final. Only Chelsea have won a strong Premier League. These are well known facts.
Thanks Dave, yeah they have, i;m sure they'll be in the tournament next season, if they sell lewandowski, i've read that they might go for our former striker Diouf.
i've been following La Liga this season and i can confidently say that the title race over there is over.
It's all subjective BS from people who claimed prior to the season that this was the weakest Utd team for ages and are now being shown up. Far easier to try to disparage the league than actually admit they were wrong. Barca have a 12 point gap in La Liga and Bayern have a 15 point gap in the Bundesliga. But apparently that just shows how vastly superior those leagues are to the PL...
Don't listen to them. You're the best team in the league and the table shows that, simple as. Man City are hardly ****, and if they're not picking up the same amount of results, that aint your problem!
At the current rate you're on course to equal the most points ever gained in a Premier League season and that's why you're first. There's no significant challenge from other clubs because Chelsea sabotaged themselves early on* and City have recently fallen off the pace. You can't take away from United though, you've been ruthlessly taking points from nearly every game, even if you haven't always played like the best team in the league. By that I mean not many of your games have been one way traffic and over by half-time but you have usually come out as the better side and more importantly come out with all 3 points. The title race does look like it's almost over now, which is a shame so I hope some teams sort themselves out in the summer and put up a better fight next year. *and possibly weren't good enough to challenge in the first place.
This. Always better to have a good battle for the league to keep it interesting right until the last week. As long as ****ing Aguero doesn't score in the last minute Tbh I think the only teams who have been mediocre this year have been City and Chelsea. You'd expect more of a challenge from the PL and CL holders, but then maybe their players just don't care now they've got the glory they wanted.
