Suarez is obviously still bitter about his treatment in England, but this statement surely is going to improve things... surely being magnanimous in victory would win more fans over.

And after a 2-1 win over England, Suarez, who was playing his first game after a knee operation, said: ‘I dreamt this. I’m enjoying this moment, because of all I suffered, the criticism I received. So, there you go.'
Suarez added: 'Before the game too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years. This is a very good time for me. I want to see what they think now.
'It was one of the best games I've played. It's an amazing moment for me. Maybe a few days ago I thought this wouldn't be possible.'

Of course we laughed at this attitude, he racially abused someone, then bit another person.
    He is a f**king goofy ****.
To be honest I am glad he scored, if England were going to lose , I am gald it was him.
Now everyone hates him even more, he will get death threats upon his return.

Suarez will love this kind of post <ok>

He gets abuse every week playing in the PL, this is payback to all of those, am sure he'll get the same abuse winker got after putting England to the sword.

A ball that skimmed off top of his head with defenders that could have still stopped Suarez tbf

To be honest I expect nothing less from the guy. An absolute dick.

No one has questioned his ability (proven by his player of the year award) and to use his performance last night (which was class tbf) to rub it in to people who have rightly given him stick, shows a complete lack of self awareness and class. He got stick for the cheating, the racism issue and the biting all of which he brought on himself. The fact he thinks a couple of goals means he is now the 'winner' just shows the measure of the man. Karma will get you Luis and when Uruguay go out and you're crying on T.V, we'll all be very glad.

Yeah Its like he is saying we were wrong to villify him for his behaviour.
He cheated at the last world cup, racially abused a player, then bit Ivanovic, and he thought this behaviour was warranted and didnt justify any of the stick he got.
He should have said something like "I hope, by my performance, I showed England fans that I have matured as a player and as a person" instead its more like "HAHA you took the piss and now ive all but knocked you out the world cup you cnuts!"

He'll never learn. The more he impresses as a player, the more he seems to negate it by doing/saying twatish things.

For him to have come back from that injury and put in that performance was special in such a big game and I have no ill feeling towards him doing that to us. He's much better than any of our players and you have to respect his ability. The fact he then comes out with a statement like that though is why everyone takes any opportunity to have a pop at him.

He loves his gran though apparently so it's ok....!!
