Has anyone listened to the Lee Trundle episode of the Undr the Cosh podcast? I was listening today and found the following points interesting: - He was always an unprofessional fatso - He rubbed GJ up the wrong way right from the get go - Basically came to us for a big fat payday - Took a few other players down bad alleys with the likes of David Noble - Had an ongoing feud with Bradley Orr before he even arrived - Respected what GJ had achieved but thought his Man Management was dog s4!t - Didn’t fit in with GJ’s system so doesn’t know why he was bought I always quite liked him, but knew he was more interested in his hair than ever being an actual professional footballer
I thought he was past his best by the time we got him. He liked being a big fish in a small pond (L1). In the Championship he wasn’t given the time on the ball to do his tricks and showboating. I did enjoy his goal vs Palace though…..!!
