Why? What is the point in not disclosing the fee? Both clubs know, the tax man must know, the football authorities must know, the club accountants must know and in the case of a PLC like spurs surely the share holders must have a right to know...anyone enlighten me as I can't figure it out?
its only when the fee goes above a certain limit that it has to be disclosed i think. Even for Spurs. I'm not sure what that limit is, something to do with the stock exchange? I've also never understood the point of not disclosing it though.
We're not a plc any more mate, we delisted a little while ago to raise new stadium cash, we're a Limited company now I believe. http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&gs_n...osb&fp=c111a9d4d103d093&biw=1280&bih=696&bs=1 For me, its when two clubs can't agree straight away and one has to give in and don't want that u-turn made public. For example, it wouldn't surprise me if we paid the odd bit in the end for Vertonghen, because that became an undisclosed fee after the 12m valuation Ajax wanted, the players 10% cut, and our 9m offer.
Cheers Guys... didn't realise we weren't a PLC anymore and some of the other things written were useful coys
