Ok, so the signing of Samba is a good one but with Jenas and Townsend completing the business for today, can't help feeling that we've been left very light up front.
    Remy MUST stay fit.
Zamora is "out of love" with football, for all Adels magic he ain't scoring goals, and how will Mackie feel after being told he can leave?
Just can't see where the goals we need to survive are coming from.

Really hope to be proved wrong on this......

Fair enough, you must be hard to please though. We've broken the club record twice in this window. I'm well chuffed.

I hear you Norway, but breaking club records doesn't always lead to success, has the Hughes era not taught us that?

Ideally Id have liked another forward but we are a lot strong than before. The rest have done bugger all.

Simply can't believe we havent brought in another striker a position we have been ludicrously short in all fricking season.

Of course not but Remy and Samba are very astute signings imo compared to the MH era.

I am certain they tried. I did think / hope Crouch was coming but looks like not to be. Is there any chance they have a striker lined up for a loan deal? Aren't you allowed to bring in loans after the window shuts??

Can't help feeling sorry for Odin now; will they let him sleep in the doorway at least?
    His career is in tatters.

Feeling less anxious reading some of the replies. Norway's usually on it.

But all I see really atm are replacements (albeit better ones) for Nelsen and Cisse.

Okay so that's assuming Yun, Jenas and Townsend are likely to be ineffective which may be a bit negatively presumptuous on my part...

We'll see - but 'Arry didn't exactly look confident about our prospects of staying up - did he?

Buying loads of players hasn't always helped us either.

Agree we're a bit light up top but Remy, Zamora, Mackie and Tarbs can all do a job.

Plus just heard the Beeb say DJ is still ours.

Absolutely this. He's been asked the question a number of times, and that's the least confident i've ever seen him. Samba's a huge signing, no doubt. But Nelsen was our best player, he did everything you can ask of a central midfielder. Samba's not even fit yet
